Admission to First School is open to anyone, regardless of race, religious affiliation or family circumstances. All the religions are respected and all children are treated as member’s a God’s diverse family.
Registration Procedures:
Registration for the summer session and the 2010-2011 school year is upon us. Currently enrolled students and their siblings registration dates are February 8th & 9th. Church members can register their children on February 12th. Open registration forms will be on-line starting February 15th. Registration forms will be posted on this website, www.firstschoolfayetteville.org, at 7:30 a.m. Available spots will be filled as the completed forms are submitted and mailed to First School, 695 Calvin St., Fayetteville, AR 72703. After all the available spots are filled, names will be placed on a new waiting list. Parents will be notified about enrollment results by February 28th. Once notified that your child is enrolled, the registration fee must be paid to complete the enrollment process. The Fall fee is $75 per child and the Summer fee is $20 per session. There will be 3 Summer sessions to provide more flexibility to our families (see dates below). If you are enrolling your child in all 3 sessions the registration fee is discounted to $50 per child.
For the school year, children will be placed into classrooms according to their age on August 1, 2010. For the summer sessions, children will be placed into classes according to their age as of September 1, 2009. Our students promote to the next class level at the beginning of the school year. The school year begins in late August and ends in May. The summer sessions will be session 1 is June 9 through July 1 (First School is closed the week of VBS, June 21-25, we highly recommend you enroll your child in our church's Vacation Bible School). Session 2 is July 5-July 22 and session 3 is July 26 - August 12. (see Tuition for rates).
