Admissions and Enrollment

Admission to First School is open to anyone, regardless of race, religious affiliation or family circumstances. All religions are respected and all children are treated as members of God’s diverse family. Available spots will be filled as completed registration forms and fees are received.

School Year Registration
Registration for currently enrolled students and their sibling is on February 9-10.   Members of the First United Presbyterian Church may register their children on February 10 in the First School office.  Registration forms for church members are available in the church office.

For the school year, children are placed into classrooms according to their age on August 1, 2017.  The Parent’s Day Out program will accept toddlers with birthdays between July 2014 to August 2016. 

The Parent’s Day Out Classes are divided as follows: 

  • Toddler (12-20 months): November 2015 - August 1, 2016
  • Younger 2’s (21-28 months): March 2015 - October 2015
  • Older 2’s (29-35 months): July 31, 2014 - February 2015

For the Preschool Classes, we offer two classrooms for each age group and divide each age group by birthdays:

  • Older students: August - January
  • Younger students: February - July

The curriculum for each age group is the same.

Summer Registration

For the summer program children are placed into classes according to their age on August 1, 2016. Our students promote to the next class level at the beginning of the school year.  The summer program has an elementary camp for children who have completed kindergarten through 4th grade.  The summer program has classes on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday and is scheduled to run June 13th through August 4th.

After all available spots are filled, names will be placed on a waiting list. Parents will be notified about enrollment results by February 28. If your child’s name is placed on the waiting list your registration fee will be returned to you.

  • Fall Registration for 2017/2018 School Year: $80 per child
  • Summer Registration Fee:  $55 per child

3 years old & up

Kindergarten

  • 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    • Mon - Fri: $461 per month
  • Extended care until 2:30 p.m.
    • $15 extra per day

Summer Tuition

This tuition rate is for 8 weeks of care and tuition payment can be divided into two installments due on April 15 and July 1st.

Dates for school will be 6/12-8/8.
