First School

First School is an Arkansas Better Beginnings Accredited Program, with a highest rating of 3-stars.  Our faith-based program strives to be a nurturing Parent’s Day Out Program, part-time  Preschool and 5 day a week Kindergarten. It is an outreach of the First United Presbyterian Church to our community.

First School achieved Arkansas Quality Accreditation in 2007 after being evaluated in areas of space & furnishing, quality of  care, student and teacher interaction, learning activities,  program structure and meeting the needs of parents and staff. Each year the center must be evaluated to maintain quality status. We are licensed by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services. Our program is committed to maintaining low child to teacher ratios and to retaining skilled, quality teachers.
